I seem to have finally recovered from the mystery illness that laid me low on Tuesday so things are looking up. I'm working on installing things on the new computer and trying to get Lion to work with older software, which is an adventure. Work is trotting along and I'm officially 1000 words or so into the sequel to SIlver Moon. Moon, incidentally, if you're feeling brave, is currently up for preorder at Amazon and will be until it's released in May. I've added 3 more events to my calendar: a blog talk radio show on lesbian and bi werewolves; a panel discussion on writing dysfunctional relationships; and a Women's Month (March) reading at the Quatrefoil Library, the Twin Cities GLBTQ Library. See my first/last blog post of the year for details.

Speaking of events, there's still time to comment on my post on
lesbian protagonists in sf/f for Lesbian Fiction Appreciation Week; a comment gets you entered in a drawing for a copy of A Day at the Inn, A Night at the Palace and Other Stories. Drawing will be done on Saturday, 21. I'm looking forward to John Calvin Rezmerski's reading at DreamHaven Books tomorrow night at 6:30 - this is the last monthly reading before the storefront closes. Everything after this is a special event.

Speaking of local bookstores,
True Colors Bookstore is having their save the store benefit on Saturday, Jan 21st at Living Table UCC. Ellis, Chastity Brown and Barb Ryman are playing. And if you can't make it, there's a Chipin button on the website. Please consider donating or shopping to save the oldest feminist bookstore in the world.
