This remains one of my favorite stories - it appeared in the Circlet antho "Cherished Blood" (3 or 4th story I had published, at that point), won a writing contest ($75 and a certificate!), and got reprinted in "Best Lesbian Erotica" and in my collection "Night's Kiss." It also garnered me my first fan mail, ever. :-)
And an article that I wrote a few years back on "Historical Research for Fiction Writers" got quoted extensively in a piece on the topic on the writer's site, A Writer's Fountain - http://awritersfountain.wordpress.com/tag/catherine-lundoff/
