Since I'm not feeling much like flying right now. Nothing too serious - I just can't seem to sleep much past 4:30 AM lately. In other news, my beloved little cat was diagnosed last night with a) a heart murmur, b) hyperthyroid, c) kidney problems and d) some unspecified infection. All things considered, she's holding up pretty well and we're onto the antibiotics and the nasty vet food today. Then I'll get her on the thyroid stuff by Friday, hopefully.
Now we just hope for the best. I did decline the ultrasound (!) and radiation treatments though. I had no idea they did that to cats at their human's request. :-(
The weekend began with one of those chats with my manager where you get to take an hour and half to tell them why he/she/it has been a complete shit. Not sure if he's currently talking to me - he was kind of power-sulking at the end but I did get an apology for some crap he put me through recently so I guess I'll take it.
But there were fun things too - hosted a successful dinner party with our lovely new neighbors, hung out with some of Jana's cool friends, went to a swell production of a Jane Austen spoof, and even got some writing done. Now, am going to bed before I actually pass out....zzzzzzz

Best luck with the kitty! And get some rest, hopefully this cooler weather will be good for it...

Here is a crawl-by hug. Sorry to hear about cat troubles; much goodness wished.
