I've got a root canal scheduled for tomorrow AM and the cat's allergic to her thyroid medicine and is busy ripping up her ears and head because they're itchy. We took her off the stuff a few days back but obviously it takes awhile to work its way through. :-((((
The highpoint of the last week was definitely going to the State Fair with gismonda. We got to see Brave Combo, who rocked (or polka'd) as always and had an all around swell time.
Got one encyclopedia article done and out the door and am almost done with the second. Almost done with another couple of stories. If my jaw would stop hurting, I might actually get some work done.

Date: 2006-08-29 02:12 am (UTC)The background: Jaw pain is part of the whole magical root canal experience for me, unfortunately. I have bad teeth and deep fillings so when things go wrong, they tend to throb all the way down the nerve into the jaw (another reason to get it over with). And based on last year's run in with same, the molar will split post-root canal and I'll acquire yet another crown. Unpleasant, painful and expensive but nothing more dramatic than that, fortunately.
ouch!
